Composer, jazz musician, and music educator Wendell Morris Logan, Ph.D., was born on November 24, 1940, one of three sons born to Dorothy Mae Horton and Simuel Morris Logan. Charles Levendosky was a poet and a journalist. He received a degree in physics in 1958 and a degree in mathematics in 1960, both from the University of Oklahoma. He received his masters degree in education in 1963 from New York University. He moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1972 to work for the "Casper Star-Tribune" as a columnist.
